Q: What is an equity fund?
A: An equity fund is a fund that invests in equities. Fund assets are typically mainly in stock, with some amount of cash, which is generally quite small. The objective of an equity fund is long-term growth through capital gains, although historically dividends have also been an important source of total return. FMG equity funds focus on the world's emerging markets and therefor have a high level of risk.
Q: What is the minimum investment amount?
A: The minimun amount to invest is 15,000 EUR or equivalent in another currency.
Q: What fees do I have to pay when investing in FMG's funds?
A: Fee structure contains a loadfee, an annual management fee and a performance fee. See specifics for each fund at 'THE FUNDS'.
Q: What does NAV mean?
A: NAV means Net Asset Value. The NAV is calculated for each fund and shareclass with all fees deducted.
Q: How long does it take for my money to reach FMG?
A: Normally a transfer will reach our FMG account in 2-3 days.
Q: When are the NAVs of units in FMG funds calculated?
A: Currently all FMG funds domiciled in Malta are traded weekly, apart from the FMG Africa fund which is traded monthly. The NAVs for the weekly funds are calculated every Friday of the week and the monthly NAVs are calculated on the last business day of the month.
Q: When redeeming shares, how long before I receive my money in my account?
A: Normally you will recieve the amount three weeks after dealing day.
